The European Euronews network has highlighted the invitation of Dr. Mohamad Izzat Khatab, the leader of “Syria For All” party, to the new French president, Emmanuel Macron, to work for an immediate and urgent solution of Syria’s crisis.
The European channel said: ” While France celebrates with Emmanuel Macron as a new president of France, the leader of “Syria For All” party, Dr. Mohamad Izzat, asked the new French president to work for a peaceful and urgent solution to the crisis in Syria.
Dr. Khatab adopted a plan aimed at ending the war in Syria, which destroyed Syrian infrastructure and led to the refuge and displacement of thousands of Syrians.
Emmanuel Macron called for a peace conference in Paris under the supervision of France and with the participation of both sides of the crisis from opposition and regime. This conference aimed at stopping the war and preparing for genuine legislative elections in which Syrians are involved at home and abroad.
The leader of “Syria For All ” party said that, the aim of the elections was to form a national capacity government that would work to bring peace to the country and restore its reconstruction with Syrian money.
Khatab’s statements come just two days before the launch of a new round of Syrian negotiations between the opposition and the regime, which will be held in Geneva from May 16 to 19.
